In October 2009, 12 volunteers took part in Save the Children Australia's annual charity challenge, which involved trekking through the stunning Himalayan mountains of Nepal and helping to build a classroom in the small village of Bihun. Prior to the trip, participants raised an amazing $50000 for Save the Children's education programs in Nepal.
